People will offer their opinion of what artist are the best in each genre and what "good" song to react to. Via UA-cam reactions like yours I have been able to sample the "Best" an artist has released, thank you for that. Alan is such a great songwriter and performer so I love a lot of what he does but what’s so special about this song to me is how it doesn’t candy coat the struggles people often go through. No one said marriage and raising kids is easy but man is it worth it! The song mentions how the start was hard and how life threw them some curves, which happens. Also, how they’ll break each other’s hearts and hopefully bend but not break the marriage. How having kids can teach valuable lessons to the parents who have to let go of so much of themselves and put the kids first which often brings the parents closer even though the job of raising kids is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things they’ll ever do. It also talks about how our perceptions and values change as life moves on and how ultimately we’d do it all again, the struggles, the hurt, the broken trust, the rebuilt trust, the joy, and the love. It’s a masterpiece and now that I've been married for 20 years and have two wonderful kids this song means so much more to me. I used to hate country with a passion but we change and sometimes it’s all about timing. I got into country by accident in 1993 back when I was 21. I was driving a work truck and didn't realize right away that whoever drove it last had left it tuned to a country station. I simply listened along and must have been in the frame of mind to get lost in a song and the right one came on (All These Years by Sawyer Brown) and it stayed in my ears, my mind, and in my heart for days afterward until I had to buy the CD even though I'd never purchased a country music album prior to that day. That’s how it started for me. I love how country songs paint vivid pictures and that each one is its own story. I still listen to many different genres of music but I've realized that as I've gotten older my comfort zone rests within country music (especially from 90s country artists) and it's become my most cherished type of music.

And they became overseers and snitches towards black slaves and that transformed to them becoming police. America paid them off black Americans got treated differently.

AC/DC are for sure the last remaining rock and roll band. All their stuff is played live first before its put on disc. They almost always play live to track. And its almost like Bon was the vocalist but not the frontperson. Angus was the main character of that band. Bon and Brian always pull back when Angus goes off.

This is such a great song but I prefer the version that is on the Naked album. It’s much more stripped back and most of Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound orchestration bs was removed.
